The Haslital (Hasli-Valley) lies in the geographic center of Switzerland between Luzern and Interlaken – surrounded by the famous Alpine passes Grimsel, Susten and Brünig in the Bernese Oberland. Railway lines and highways connect the region with Zürich, Luzern, Interlaken and Bern as well as major cities in Switzerland and abroad. The Haslital is a vantage point for the Alps.

By car from Bern via Interlaken or from Zurich via Lucerne to the Brünig pass road and at the top of the pass to Hasliberg-Reuti. Reuti is the last part of the Hasliberg village. At the end station on the postal bus line, take the road down the mountain to the right (the road is marked as a dead-end closed to motorized vehicles, but residents and deliveries are allowed) The chalet is slightly below the village on the old church path (Alter Kirchweg) also known as the Hasliberg village road (Hasliberger Dorfweg) going in the direction of Schrändli, Meiringen.

By train from Bern via Interlaken or from Zurich via Lucerne to the Brünig pass station and from there by postal bus to Hasliberg-Reuti.

The view from northeast. The chalet is in a slight hollow below Reuti in a sunny, quiet location with a spectacular view and a yard, fireplace, playground area, little creek and forest.
